## Smartctl

* check all attributes about a drive  
`sudo smartctl -i /dev/sdX -a`

* megaraid controllers (LSI something)  
`sudo smartctl -d megaraid,X -i /dev/sda -a`  
The drive polled (`/dev/sda`) doesn't seem to make a difference here
